Regional Director of Operations Job at Optalis Health Care
Optalis Healthcare is seeking a motivated and experienced RDO to join our team and lead our locations in Southeast Michigan in our mission to continuously provide exceptional services to our residents.
Job Summary:
The Regional Director Operations (RDO) provides strategic leadership, counsel, and direction to the field management of those assigned facilities to ensure safe, efficient and ethical patient care.
Additionally, this position identifies and develops strategic growth opportunities, monitors facility performance, and works closely with Vice President of Operations to develop competitive strategies in alignment with Optalis Healthcare mission and values.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute growth strategies for assigned region.
· Create and maintain a high functioning team. Inspire direct reports in the quest to ensure quality and compliant patient care. Responsible for attracting, growing and retaining talented teammates.
· Lead team to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes and drive processes that ensure patients are receiving high quality care and improved quality of life.
· Review, analyze, and address gaps in service excellence, policies, and/or procedures proactively; identify issues and implement solutions.
· Drive financial discipline across the P&L. Manage financials by pushing census growth and maintaining efficient operations.
· Coordinate with department heads to develop financial plans and ensure operational compliance.
· Manage procurement and resource allocation across assigned region.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
· Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
· Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Travel Requirements:
Local travel to assigned region facilities.
Education and Experience:
· MBA, preferred
· 5 years in regional supervisory role
· Active Nursing Home Administrators License, required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
