TQA has a combined 65+ years of Quality Management experience in the automotive industry. The driving goal behind the way our team operates during a ‘Sort & Inspection’ of parts is to first and foremost contain the customer’s problem and then to immediately provide the support needed for the supplier to resolve the problem and eliminate the fall-out. During ‘Sorting & Inspection’, our inspectors use documented work instructions to record quantity inspected and frequency of problem(s), and quantity certified on an Inspection Report.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- 2nd Shift supervisor (2pm – 11pm) Monday thru Friday and some weekends.
- Implement methods to inspect and evaluate products via job instructions in PowerPoint.
- Ensure all products adhere to quality standards.
- Perform detailed and record inspections of products.
- Train and manage the inspectors on approved sorting methods.
- Track products through the facility to ensure all quality products are being used.
- Work according to deadlines without sacrificing the quality of the product.
- Make sure all employees adhere to all safety and COVID procedures.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Tonawanda, NY 14150: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or College
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Communication skills to convey information in reports, and status updates
- Knowledge of automotive products to perform quality controls
- Ability to handle stress
- Ability to take direction
- Able to train inspectors on proper sorting procedures
