Quality Control Inspector
Pay: $21-23/hr.
Hours: Monday-Friday Day shift
Job Type: Temp-Hire
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Requirements:
1 year minimum of QC Inspector experience. Valid DL. 1 year minimum of fabricating structural steel experience. Prior welding experience. Able to work under pressure and deadlines. 1 year of manufacturing experience PREFERRED.
Job Description:
Will Visually inspect, take measurements, and verify the accuracy according to drawings and details. Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Use inspection equipment to ensure requirements have been met. Operate power tools and hand tools, pumps, and other devices pertaining to the position. Monitor shop operations to ensure that jobs are completed according to the drawings and specifications provided by the MBI design team. Maintain QC files (job files, welder records, code books). Assist with all department’s activities with respect to quality -Manage and train the junior QC inspector. You will be responsible for QC for the following processes: plate, drill, cope, fit-up, weld, and paint. Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting. All other duties as assigned.
