Franklin Sports, Inc. is looking to hire. The Quality Assurance Coordinator is a support position for our busy QA/QC department. The incumbent will be responsible for all activities involving factory registration, label registration, invoice processing, customer service interface, and other duties assigned. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the consumer product safety regulations, laws, and have prior experience of product inspections, preferably in the consumer product testing laboratories for toys and/or the sports industry.
The position is located in our headquarters in Stoughton, MA and will report to the Senior Director of Quality Assurance & Sustainability.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Assist reviewing test documents and GCC (General Conformity Certificate) on daily basis
- Support QA review and handle Baseball/Team License/Street Hockey artwork and checklists
- Help handling inquiries from Customer Service Department including providing GCCs and completing QA section on set-up forms
- Assist GCC submissions for Cracker Barrel, Meijer, TJX, etc.
- File test reports and save in G/Shared/QA folder
- Process test invoices and keep QA test logbook up-to-date
- Register or unregister factory in Target system
- Track Amazon SIOC testing and update IMAST with SIOC status
- Provide QA information in Salsify
- Support and document the vendor stuffing label registration process
- Help Wercs registration upon request
- Update and Maintain warning glossary in G/Shared/QA folder
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally with focus in Quality Control or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in QA/QC role in the consumer product industry, ideally in consumer product testing laboratories for toys and/or the sports industry
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of Consumer Product Safety Regulations and rules, testing principles and applications, such as ASTM, AATCC, CPSIA, FTC, EN, etc. is a PLUS
- Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to deal with different personalities and cultural understanding
- Ability to work well under pressure and able to work cross functionally with all levels in the organization and with outside vendors and clients
