Psychological Assistant or Associate Therapist Job at SF Stress and Anxiety Center
About us:
At SF Stress and Anxiety Center, we make it easy for consumers and employers to access high-quality mental health care. We have a commitment to social justice and inclusion and we aim to create a dynamic team of clinicians that represents the diverse clientele we serve in regard to race, ethnicity, sexuality, and gender identities.
We provide supportive and *flexible* options for pre-licensed clinicians to obtain supervised clinical hours in the state of California. SFStress provides a private practice experience for trainees who are interested in creating their own practice or interested in joining a group practice following licensure. With offices throughout the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Sacramento, we are growing our vision of personalized, evidence-based therapy. Positions are currently remote, though we plan to return to in-person as the situation permits.
Our clinical supervisors represent all credentials and come from a diverse and rich background of providing culturally inclusive evidenced-based therapy. We have a commitment and passion to shaping future generations of therapists and contributing to the mental health profession as a whole. Areas of emphasis include but are not limited to working with children, the LGBTQIA+ community, community mental health, complex trauma, substance use, and much more.
