Moceri is seeking two experienced, accountable, and committed Project Manager who are passionate about helping us accomplish our quest for the unqualified satisfaction of every client. Projects will be located in Rochester and Lake Orion.
This role is solely responsible for the timely completion of the project. You will be committed to providing on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors and vendors, ensuring that the specifications are strictly followed, and work is following schedule and budget. The Project Manager shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control and job site safety as well.
The essential functions outlined below are just a few of the keys to a successful role; this is not an exhaustive list:
- Coordination of the construction of homes or luxury apartments
- Responsible for the arrangement and set-up of a construction and sales office trailer(s), when necessary.
- Schedule trades and other duties in which a Superintendent may need to perform.
- Apply for Building Permits & obtaining Certificate of Occupancy of homes.
- Request corporate office purchasing agent to issue all purchase orders and work orders (absolutely no verbal orders will be honored).
- Approve bills (verifying quantities and measurements).
- Inform the corporate office and sales office of stage payments that are due when various stages of construction are completed.
- Update building schedules and posting at corporate office and construction office.
- Weekly meetings with the sales staff.
- Weekly construction meetings with Company owners; day and time to be determined.
- Perform walk-thru inspections with homeowners and completing punch list items.
- Servicing - scheduling warranty and service on closed homes. All warranty/service must be in writing and requested from corporate office. Service work must be approved by builder prior to work commencing
What you bring to the table:
- Previous 10-15 years of experience, in custom home/apartment construction projects experience a plus!
- Builders License Preferred
- Thorough knowledge of trades
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs and builder software programs
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday
- Exceptional professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail
