Program Intake Specialist

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary: Starting salary $50,000 -$55,000 yearly

About the Role

The Program Intake Specialist will meet with prospective individuals and families interested in LADD services to determine which program best fits their individual needs and will work with them on navigating LADD’s full spectrum of service offerings.

Essential Functions of the Role

• The primary point of contact for all program inquiries
• Responsible for managing, tracking, and updating the program waitlist
• Obtains pertinent information from new clients by completing intake assessments and documents
• Complete, monitor, and track all intake paperwork on clients and families
• Conduct intake interviews and program informational sessions with individuals
• Conduct program tours for interested individuals and families
• Communicate intake data throughout the agency
• Work closely with program management regarding intake applicants
• Serve as the agency parent liaison
• Work closely with OOD, DODD, and other external partners regarding referrals

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Demonstrate understanding of disability services and LADD programs
• Displays the ability to communicate effectively with individuals
• Shows proficiency with MS Office computer programs
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and a calm disposition
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to pivot when needed

Candidate Qualifications

• Associates Degree Required (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
• Two or more years of Customer Service Experience
• General overall knowledge of disability services
