Production Supervisor Job at Talento Search Group
Talento Search Group has an opening for a Production Supervisor in Freeport, Illinois This is a direct-hire position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Continuous Improvement in all aspects of production
- Plan and assign tasks to hourly employees and shift leads
- Assist in the timely closing of production orders, ADP Payroll and all daily/hourly reports
- Ensure a safe workplace
- Strong communication skills with all levels of management and hourly employees
- Direct, evaluate, train, retrain and discipline employees
- Ensure production department operates at maximum efficiency with minimum down time, producing the highest quality product with the lowest possible cost
- Maintain and audit inventory and company policy and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by management
Experience Needed:
- At least 3 years of production supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferred
- Experience coaching, counseling, and promoting a safe work environment
- Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
- Experience completing production reporting and timekeeping
- Ability to work in a team environment with other departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email
