The Job

The Post-Production Lead oversees post-production image standards, ensuring quality and consistency across the Digital Content Team for assets published on evo.com.

In this role, you will lead the retouching process for product photography and marketing requests. You will serve as a quality control checkpoint for product images, reviewing them before processing and uploading with product metadata to Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms. You will be responsible for monitoring photo studio workflow, tracking progress, and managing priorities of multiple streams of work. You will own the retouching bandwidth, delegate low-level retouching tasks, and establish an outsourcing plan for retouching work if required.

You will also partner with marketing and support design production needs as it relates to the creation of brand elements to ensure our photography guidelines are aligned across channels. This will involve previewing imagery provided by partners, vendors, or our own content production to review for quality control. In addition, you will be a key stakeholder in our evolving brand guidelines across evo’s various family of brands within our experience offering.

Success for this position will be measured by organizational skills, time management, ability to prioritize, resourcefulness, excellent communication skills, and proactive mindset. As a lead, you will need to be a self-motivated problem solver, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement, optimizing for efficiency, and owning the quality of all finished work.

This position is located at evo’s Distribution Center in Sumner, WA, with occasional travel to the headquarters in Seattle, WA for meetings and other requirements. Depending on workload and team needs, there is flexibility for remote work.

  • Deliver organized, named, tagged, and discoverable collections of assets to internal clients
  • Maintain organized archives of all work via non-destructive workflows for composites, shadows, color overlays, and other special requests
  • Lead photo reviews with the studio team, digital asset coordinators, and marketing
  • Create documentation, Photoshop templates, actions, and other tools to uphold image standards and train teammates and contractors to post-process vendor assets
  • Identify and report to management on evolving industry best practices, software, tools, and workflow advancements
  • Bring a critical eye for continuous improvement and business processes, constantly looking for opportunities to improve our communication, quality, efficiency, and tools
