JD:
This engineering service requires an individual with experience in PWB Layout with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, and an expert user in Cadence Allegro version 17.4 software. Service provided resources must be fully versed in the usage/implementation of constraints and constraint manager.
Ability to work independently following work instructions, guidelines and work concurrently with a cross-sectional team of engineers to setup, constrain, place, route and document the PWB layout design.
Familiarization with IPC class 3 high reliability products and specs.
-EMI Concepts
-Working with other functional teams to fabricate a PWB
-Printed wiring board certifications
+industry standards for PWBs
+Client has their own standards then will be released to the winning bidder
-The PWBs will require:
+structural analysis
+thermal analysis
-Vida Standards
-DFX
-The person will need to be able to assess the producibility and testability
-Double sided SMP tech
-Board check level designing
-Sequential laminating
-IPC 221 Documents
-Cadence Allegro
+Cadence constraint manger
-There are specifications when designing a PWB where certain components have requirements and need to be spaced and located properly, the constraint manager is a tool in Cadence that assists in the design, but this can be manipulated and troubleshot
-These boards are large, extremely complex with dimensions of 4x8x10"
+rails, heat sync, and back drilling may all need to be applied to the PWBs
-The candidate will need to be able to make deductions of the design and suggest appropriate alternatives where applicable
