Pastry Sales Representative Job at Hudson Valley Baking Company
Hudson Valley Baking Company, a wholesale bakery, is looking for a Pastry Chef - Sales Representative for our baking products. The successful applicant will need to make sales calls and presentations, to restaurants, distributors, and other prospects. 10-15% of the time will be in product development.
The highly talented and energetic Bakery Sales Representative will possess a stellar work ethic and customer satisfaction record. Adept at handling multiple simultaneous priorities with complete accuracy and professionalism. Able to function well independently or as part of a food service team.
Core Qualifications
· Considerable food product sales experience
· Excellent knowledge of menu planning and pricing
· Strong familiarity with food preparation and applicable health and safety codes
· Outstanding proficiency with MS Office software applications
· Exceptional salesmanship and persuasive skills
· High oral and written communication skills
· Sound negotiation and presentation abilities
Salary with commission commensurate with the applicant’s experience.
