JOB OVERVIEW
Alliance Church of the Valley (ACV) is seeking a full-time Pastor of Student ministries to join our team. This person will be responsible to cast vision, lead, plan, coordinate and implement the student ministry of ACV to youth in grades 6 - 12. About Us ACV's mission is to grow a community rooted in Christ in St. Croix Falls, WI, and beyond. We belong to the Christian and Missionary Alliance, an association of churches focused on local and international ministry. Our current youth ministry is an active, thriving, and integral piece of our church's mission About You Ideally, you'll have a BA/BS in Biblical, Theological, Pastoral, and/or Student Ministry with a minimum of three years’ experience. Bonus if you have the ability to lead a worship team on Sundays and Wednesday nights. If you aren't ordained or licensed with the C&MA, we can support you as you pursue this important aspect of our faith community.
- Leadership: Able to recruit and train the volunteer leadership teams of students and adults.
- Discipleship: Build and lead a discipleship culture among students, including midweek and Sunday school programming, as well as individual mentoring
- Relationship building: Committed to connect and grow in relationship with students

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan & lead mid-week student gatherings
- Provide leadership for middle & High School Sunday School classes
- Provide Pastoral care to students and ministry volunteers
- Organize and lead student specific events (retreats, mission trips, LIFE conference, etc.)
- Provide pastoral care to broader congregation as needed/requested
- Officiate weddings & funerals as needed/requested Preaching
- Preach during Sunday morning worship services as determined by leadership
- Provide leadership to established Sunday morning worship ministry
- Oversee, recruit, and train teams
