The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Child Support Services is seeking to hire a highly qualified and motivated professional to join our Belleville Regional team in the role of Office Coordinator. This position will gather information and issues notices of delinquency and referrals for accounts in need of adjustment per guidlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills to be successful in performing the operations of the Belleville Regional - St. Clair team.

Job Responsibilities
- Performs complex and specialized procedures to achieve the service of income withholding orders or to otherwise dispose of delinquency referrals for St. Clair County
- Provides customer service both in person and via telephone as inquiries are received at the regional office
- Gathers information and issues notices of delinquency to responsible relatives whose accounts meet established delinquency guidelines
- Gathers information and issues referrals for accounts in need of adjustment to designated accounting staff and referrals for cases in need of legal action to attorneys for Child Support Specialists
- Establishes and monitors tracking procedures to monitor status of delinquency, income withholding services, and other work in progress
- Keyboards letters, forms, records, and other documents relative to Income Withholding operations
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to two years of secretarial/business college, or completion of completion of high school and two years of related office experience, or two years of independent business experience
- Requires the ability to keyboard accurately at 30 WPM
Conditions of Employment
- Requires the ability to pass a national background check prior to employment due to accessing confidential tax information
- Requires the ability to maintain state issued equipment such as: a laptop and/or cell phone
- Requires the ability to travel
- Requires the ability to lift and move boxes of files weighing up to 50 pounds
Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
