OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST - STEVENS POINT Job at Aspirus

We are seeking an Occupational Health Specialist to join our Aspirus Business Health team in Stevens Point, WI.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the delivery of outpatient clinic health care
- Answer phones, returning phone calls, crisis triage
- Paperwork processing for schools, human services, etc.
- Prior authorizations of medications
- Rooming patients
- Maintaining clinical records and documentation
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from an accredited MA program or five years’ equivalence in medical assistant experience.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration REQUIRED or obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Completion of a WI EMT program and currenly licensed
- Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire – REQUIRED
Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per pay period. Monday-Friday shifts 8:00am-5:00pm, No Weekends or Holidays! Benefits package available.
