Helpmates Staffing is hiring for a Press Operator on 1st Shift or 2nd shift. This is an opportunity for a leading supplier focused on technology.

Schedule:

Mon - Fri 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

We also have part time available working at least 10 – 15 hours per week up to 35 hours per week. Scheduled in the range between 4:00 am to 1:00 am Monday to Friday and 4:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturday.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for performing press operations according to specified daily work orders.
• Operates production machines to produce parts in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• Meets production quantity and quality levels per work orders.
• Collaborates with the lead person regarding pre-press functions and operation of machines as needed.
• Inspects produced parts to ensure continuous quality levels and reports discrepancies immediately to the lead person.
• Fills out production paperwork and inspection procedures on a daily basis.
• Detects and reports discrepancies, on machine malfunctions, promptly to the lead person.
• Package and transport produced parts as needed for the next operation.
• Maintain machines and work areas clean at all times.
• Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
• Ensures a safe work environment.
