This position is located on-site in the Fort Wayne, IN Office.
ITI is seeking an experienced Network Engineer.
The successful individual will be able to:
- Analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently
- Design, implement and troubleshoot, wired, Wi-Fi and security infrastructure
- Manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation
- Self-start and take ownership of projects and drive them to closure
- Communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology
Experience
- 6-8 years of complex Cisco network/hardware management, including disaster recovery and hardware redundancy.
- Work history in a Multiple environment management
- Hardware management through software (SolarWinds) or similar
Knowledge
- Network security
- SSL/S2S/Software VPN connectivity, management, and revisions to support WFH personnel
- In-depth understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP
- In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers, and switches
- Cisco CCNA / CCNP (a plus)
Education
- An Associate Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field (a plus)
