Opening for Medical Assistant in a positive, fast-paced Podiatry office. We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Experience useful but willing to train the right, career-minded individual. Chance for excellent bonuses.
ABOUT US
At the Foot & Ankle Center, our experienced doctors and staff treat patients as individuals, with detailed attention to help people get back on their feet. With advanced training in surgical residencies, our doctors perform hundreds of outpatient surgeries and thousands of in-office procedures every year. Our comfortable office is located in beautiful Providence, UT.
M.A. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet patients, answer phones, and take messages
- Prepare rooms and ensure supplies are ready
- Assist in procedures and examinations
- Take patient history, record vitals, and type chart notes
- Help educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment, and medications
M.A. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Maintain polite and professional communication in person and via phone & e-mail
- Handle a busy patient load while maintaining a good sense of humor
- Competent computer skills, especially typing
- Attention to detail
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
- Healthcare experience is valuable, but not required
DETAILS
- SALARY: $15-18/hr (based on experience)
- FULL-TIME
