Summary of Position: Support the automated production machinery used to assemble and manufacture ultracapacitors. Perform preventative maintenance and repair automated production equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technical support of ultracapacitor automation machinery on production floor to maintain continuous uptime of equipment.
• Maintenance and repair of automated production machinery.
• Implement preventative maintenance procedures for long term equipment uptime
• Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality.
• Specify replacement and spare parts, then create purchase requisitions.
• Interface with manufacturing, quality assurance, and engineering personnel in solving technical problems associated with supporting a robust automation system.
• Observe and practice appropriate environmental, safety and health policies and practices.

· Abide by all company policies and procedures.

· Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum five years of experience with repair and maintenance of automated production equipment, or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in automated production equipment and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to identify and resolve equipment problems.
• Capable of working effectively in urgent situations and successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an organized manner.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Work successfully with a minimum amount of direct supervision.
• Experience with mechanical and electromechanical systems, and their controls.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
