We are currently looking for a full-time maintenance technician to join our maintenance team. We are a property management company that manages 100+ properties, mostly residential and some commercial.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. Successful candidate will be responsible for property maintenance for apartments and single-family homes throughout Utah County, as well as 5 commercial buildings in Provo/Orem. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall and painting repairs as necessary
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
- Make carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs inside apartments and homes
- On-call hours required some nights and weekends
- Report work accomplished on written work order to Property Manager
- Perform other maintenance duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds or more unassisted on a regular basis
- Experienced in operating a variety of home repair equipment and hand tools
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Able to work well with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
- Must have personal vehicle to perform work duties
