Logistics Support Job at OnSite Fleet
POSITION SUMMARY:
Support Engineering Fleet Management team with logistical moves of test assets at Nissan Technical Center North America – Farmington Hills location
JOB DUTIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
· Prep new vehicles upon arrival including removing PGF, interior plastic & general readiness.
· Label and stage new vehicles
· Transport vehicles to/from local dealership & repair facilities.
· Apply Camouflage wraps to confidential vehicles
· Understand and recognize security and confidential restrictions
· Secondary responsibilities to support shop staff
· Maintain parking lot in neat and organized manner
o Ensure confidential vehicles are up to code
o Locate and prepare vehicles for storage and scrap processing
o Perform inspections for both auction and rental vehicles
· Conduct parking lot audits
· Oversight of vehicle readiness for daily usage by Engineering community
· Will be asked to assist with various shop-related tasks or office projects that may arise as delegated by department supervisor
NOTE:
· This position will require driving of Nissan owned test vehicles and forklift operation. Nissan certification, supervisor assessment and adherence to strict safety protocol required.
NOTE:
· This position will require a significant portion of the shift outdoors.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
· Valid driver’s license
· Good driving record
· Ability to drive manual transmission
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Forklift operation preferred
· Basic computer skills
· High level of customer service in a professional environment
· Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,000.00 - $36,250.00 per year
