We are an LTL trucking company with 50 Class 8 trucks and dry van trailers servicing time-sensitive LTL and TL freight between IL-GA-FL. Our main terminal is in Chicagoland (Streamwood, IL) and we have a terminal in Calhoun, GA. Safe, hard-working and detail-oriented professionals are always welcome to apply.
We're looking for experienced and proven professionals for the position of a local tractor/trailer driver in Calhoun, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Be punctual
- Safe driving
- Minimum 2 years of CDL-A experience
- Be available for flexible hours
- Good driving record
- No history of drug use
- Be available to work 50-60 hours/week
- Be able to drive safely despite poor road conditions, traffic, and weather
- Be able to reliably commute or live no more than 30 minutes away from work
- Update the logistics system (Truck Mate tablet) based on current status
- Communicate with others in person and by phone and company tablet
- Be friendly and smoothly collaborate with dispatch and terminal manager
- Keep the truck clean, tidy and in good working condition
- Last but not least - possess common sense
