Licensed Certified Social Worker
32- 40 hours
Overview: Provides counseling and casework services to patients/families that focuses on the management of the psychosocial status of the patient/family that are experiencing terminal illness. Counseling is rendered within the context of the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families during the last phase of life including grief recovery process.
Education: Master's Degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required.
Licensure: LCSW or LICSW license required
Experience Preferred: Minimum of one year experience in a health care setting.
