Arva is a small 3-year old company with a huge market potential applying AI technology into agriculture. We prefer candidates with prior experience working at smaller companies or startups. Arva is looking for a SDET Senior developer with QA/Test code design experience and 10+ years of hands-on code development and platform operations experience. We strongly prefer someone who has worked with large-scale cloud-based platforms from the ground up rather than working on isolated platform components. We also prefer Python, Django, JavaScript, HTML/CSS scripting languages running on AWS/GCP based cloud platforms. Our Ideal candidate has Test Automation Framework experience (Selenium, Appium and/or TestNG) including experience in Load Testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner and/or Gatling). In addition candidate should know how to lead projects, and use Test Management Tools (Zephyr, TestRail) to create and manage testing cloud-based scalable SaaS platforms. Knowledge and experience working with scripting languages to build test harnesses and tie different third-party frameworks, tools together is also very important.

Responsibilities

• Use of virtualization and debugging tools along with scripting languages to implement third party test automation frameworks for automated test coverage, performance and load testing capability.
• Ability to author Unit tests, Final tests and Application testing within one or more test harnesses.
• Solid grasp of the principles, patterns, and practice of cloud-based SaaS platform architecture, software design, DevOps, and new trends in software development technology and tools.
• AWS scalable cloud-based technologies and frameworks to auto-test and regress our Machine Learning analytics platform.
• Developing and implementing software solutions to meet quality and performance requirements while continuously analyzing processes for improved cost, performance, adaptability, and scalability.
• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with project team members, company management, customers, and partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SDET work experience testing highly scalable multi-tenant, cloud-based Information Systems.
• Experience in software regression testing and test harness design for geospatial databases, multi-dimensional data feature sets, big data warehousing.
• Proficiency with Python language, or other scripting languages for integrating third-party test harnesses, error reporting, and logging frameworks.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and persistence technologies like PostgreSQL/PostGIS, databases, and S3 storage in AWS/GCP clouds is desirable.
• Experience with platform optimization for best cost, performance, and scalability
