Laser Scanning Specialist
We are a rapidly growing provider of 3D laser scanning (Reality Capture) services throughout the United States with offices in many major metro areas. Our AEC industry customers hire us to scan and deliver point clouds, 3D CAD models (Scan-to-BIM) and/or 2D Drawings (Scan-to-Plan). We scan buildings, industrial plants and other large structures for the purpose of creating a Digital Twin.
We are seeking an experienced laser scanning specialist to be based in the Miami, FL area. You will provide laser scanning services in the south FL market and also be available to travel to other locations when needed by car or plane. Requirements:
Passion for 3D laser scanning technology and a desire to make a career in this industry
2+ years experience in a similar scanning role
Experience with Leica RTC-360, NavVis VLX or similar scanners
Experience performing point cloud registrations with Leica Register 360 or similar software
Ability to travel on short notice
Driver’s license required
Reliable vehicle
Drug test required
Good customer interaction skills
This job also requires a good level of physical fitness. Scanning projects can involve climbing stairs, standing
continuously for hours at a time, lots of walking, lifting and carrying a tripod and scanner, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
