Human Resources Specialist, Organizational Development Job at Fisher Titus Medical Center
GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Vice President, Talent Management, responsible for developing and aligning high performance programs and systems for our workforce with key clinical and business strategies and initiatives. Leverages technology and learning for the advancement of the organization through developing employee skills and strategically enhancing employee involvement in quality initiatives, lean measures, evidence based guidelines and change management. Actively engages in problem identification, data analysis, system analysis, action planning, implementation and evaluation through collaboration with organizational departments and business platforms to promote alignment and standardization driving world-class business outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Create and implement programs at work that connect employees with the overarching goals and strategic plan of the organization.
Coordinate new employee, contractor, and student orientation and annual education to ensure compliance with ACHC and other required regulatory standards.
Identify and evaluate clinical and business initiatives to ascertain appropriate programs that meet organizational and departmental goals.
Assist in the creation of competency models to include measurement, validation, and documentation of competencies assuring clarity for all employees of what high performance is.
Evaluate courses for instructional design and evidence based best practices for organizational learning.
Collaborate with Human Resources to provide focus on areas for succession development, talent identification, employee retention and measures to attract and retain top talent within the organization.
Partner with department and Human Resources leaders in workforce initiatives to further develop or attract talent that aligns with business initiatives and department goals.
Coordinate leadership trainings and onboarding for new leaders ensuring core objectives are met and align with overall strategy.
Utilize and build affiliations with universities and colleges to enhance the learning opportunities of employees and manage the Educational Assistance Program.
Builds connections with employees to foster opportunities and programs to mentor, coach and develop employees.
Serves as a developer, facilitator and instructor for courses for the development and training of leadership and staff.
