Stonewall Memorial Hospital is seeking a motivated individual to join the team of Housekeepers for our district. The ideal candidate is responsible, independent and detail-oriented individuals who have a history of performing well in fast-paced hospital environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily cleaning duties as well as dusting, vacuuming and sanitizing work areas throughout the district.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning and replacement of equipment and furnishings
- Cleans all area of the hospital by performing routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting rooms, lobbies, lounges, breakrooms, conference rooms, restrooms and corridors.
- Responsible for deep cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash,changing beds and notifying maintenance and supervisor of any issues.
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
- Cleaning and maintain all restrooms on property.
- Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Keep Linen room stocked and maintained.
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Work well unsupervised while being productive.
- You should be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Have eye for cleanliness and positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with staff and patients.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning products (training will be provided).
- Must be flexible to work various shifts and perform various task.
- Must be able to stand, move and bend while performing certain cleaning duties.
- Ability to pass criminal background check.
- Attention to detail is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
