Inside Plants has been around for 44 years. We are an interior landscaping company that services areas from Orange County to Coachella valley and everywhere in between.

We are looking for someone to organize and maintain our small warehouse & greenhouse and deliver & install plants and planters to our accounts. This job requires someone who is strong and able to do heavy lifting, organized, takes initiative and can problem solve on the spot. You will be unloading deliveries of plants and planters, picking up plants from Nursery suppliers, tag replacement plants for technicians, drive to accounts to install big plant replacements, prepping plants for installation and install new plants and planters. You will be driving company vehicles including a 16’ box truck. You must be able to take direction, work independently, and manage your time.

Responsibilities include and not limited to:

• Receiving plant deliveries and container orders
• Tracking plant and planter inventory in warehouse
• Maintaining plants in greenhouse (water & prune)
• Driving to accounts and suppliers in company vehicle
• Driving 16' box truck
• Organize & maintain technician supplies
• Organize, maintain and keep warehouse clean
• Oversee planned maintenance on all company vehicles
• Learn names of plants (will train)
• Cover routes on occasion (will receive technician training)
• Customer Service Skills
• Organized, takes initiative and problem solver

Qualification Requirements:

• Requires CA driver’s license and car insurance
• Must have clean driving record
• Must provide DMV printout
• Forklift experience
• Must have good organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Physical Strength (occasional heavy lifting of plant and planters)
• Able to lift 75lb

Our typical hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. You may be required to start as early as 6:00 am for installations and nursery pickups. Hours per week are 32-40 hours. Most of the time you will be working on your own, so you must be a go getter, know how to manage your time and be able to problem solve on the spot.

This position starting pay is $18.00 per hour depending on experience. In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $18.00 and $20.00. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
