Job Summary:
The GM will have full P&L responsibility for the Door Engineering business. He/She will have complete responsibility for planning and executing the overall business plan and will oversee sales, product development and operations activities. In addition to ensuring the attainment of all the financial objectives established by Leadership and approved by the Board, the GM will ensure that the business is operated safely and in accordance with the values of Client.
Responsibilities:
Develops the annual business plan for Door Engineering.
Articulates strategy and directs the preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on corporate goals and growth objectives.
Builds a high performing team of leaders who direct department activities to implement the organization's policies.
Partners with finance to ensure proper metrics are identified and measured to align with objectives.
Champions a safety-first work environment and drives inventory reduction and hazard elimination.
Reinforces a culture of continuous improvement in both cost position and overall organizational capabilities.
Responsible for establishing and achieving aggressive growth targets in revenue, profits, and cash flow.
Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to organization.
Develops and installs procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization.
Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
Initiates coordination of capex plan and major projects, (i.e., plant layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.)
Ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
At least 10 years of leadership experience including at least 3 years in cross-functional leadership role.
Operations leadership experience preferred.
Previous management of an entire P&L with at least $10M in revenue.
Track record of growing revenue, profits, and market share.
Thorough knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques including Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
Evidence of building a high-performance leadership team.
Preferred experience in aviation or building products industry.
This position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently and has the ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.

Salary: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
