A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ENTRY-LEVEL UNARMED SECURITY PROFESSIONAL

As an Unarmed Security Professional, you provide security services for a variety of organizations, and venues. You monitor fire boards and CC TV systems. Additionally, you monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of the premises. Thanks to the excellent and comprehensive training that we have provided, you remain calm and handle any issues confidently and professionally while applying your conflict resolution skills.

You communicate respectfully and effectively with anyone you encounter whether clients, employees, residents, trespassers, emergency response personnel, or law enforcement. With attention to detail, you are conscientious about keeping an accurate record of day-to-day activities on the site. This includes recording irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Working as a team, you participate in hourly security checks with dispatch and patrol designated areas on foot as assigned. You feel great about the important role you play in keeping people and property safe!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL UNARMED SECURITY PROFESSIONAL

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to pass a drug and background check
• Ability to utilize multiple software applications on computers, tablets, and smartphones
• Ability to complete the basic training needed to get licensed
• Neat and professional appearance is mandatory
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• 18 years or older

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL UNARMED SECURITY PROFESSIONAL

This shift will be Monday - Friday working a 50-hour week with the hours of 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. You will not have to work weekends or holidays and you are guaranteed 10 hours of overtime a week!!
