Bethlehem Lutheran School in Fairborn, Ohio is seeking a first grade teacher for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Salary commensurate with experience and education but starts at $43,300 for a first year teacher with bachelor's degree and appropriate teaching license.
Each elementary educator is responsible for teaching grade level appropriate classes using curriculum from a variety of publishing sources which fulfills the standards prescribed by our charter from the State of Ohio Department of Education.
In addition to the core curriculum of science, math, social studies, language arts, reading, and religion, students are also taught by specialty teachers in areas such as library, art, music, band, physical education and Spanish. Religion is integrated throughout our school day drawing from the Bible, Luther’s Small Catechism, and the Concordia Publishing series One In Christ.
