We’re currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician at our manufacturing facility in La Vergne TN.. The focus of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain, repair, install, and improve an array of industrial equipment using their skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Electronic systems.
We’re currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician at our manufacturing facility in La Vergne TN.. The focus of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain, repair, install, and improve an array of industrial equipment using their skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Electronic systems.
Using their knowledge and experience to work safely, troubleshoot issues, follow government and company standards, read and interpret drawings, instructions and manuals, and of course innovate to improve safety and productivity.
We offer 10 hour shifts allowing for flexible Scheduling and some weekends!
Essential Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic subsystems on press machinery, high speed packaging machinery and electroforming and related equipment
- Plan and perform work requiring an in-depth knowledge of machinery principles of operation and the sub-systems comprising said machinery
- Performs prescribed work in a safe and efficient manner and complies with applicable codes and best practices
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics describing relay logic and plc -based control systems
- Maintains a strong presence on the shop floor and in related process areas to perform breakdown maintenance and to ensure that production machinery and support systems are operating at optimal and prescribed levels of performance
- Makes suggestions for machinery and process improvements or modifications and actively participates in the design, build, implementation and perfection of such improvements
Job Experience
- Minimum three years experience or combination of education and experience, preferably working with industrial machinery
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting Machines
- Knowledge of Mechanics, Electrical circuits, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, PLC and Robotics
- Basic Arithmetic skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of PLC programming a plus
- Must be able to read, comprehend and communicate in English.
