Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Overall supervision of staff to include interviewing for hires, training, performance management, disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
• Check and adjusts for scheduling to assure staffing levels consistent with budget and at the level to enhance the Live! Casino & Hotel guest dining, hotel and gaming experience.
• Responsible for controlling, issuing and inventory of all equipment used in the restaurant, banquet room, room service, and bars.
• Responsible for overseeing the cleaning and storage of all wares used in food and beverage
• Inspection of cleaning of kitchen and banquet storage and organizing inventory.
• Inspects the safety and security of all employees and guest.
• Oversees sanitation operation and standards for Food, Beverage and Banquet outlets.
• Inspects for Anne Arundel County Health Department requirements and corrects any errors through training, retraining or discipline of offending team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

• Ability to use chemicals and equipment; no skin sensitivities.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards/guidelines.
• Ability to read and write basic instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk extended distances during shifts.
• The team member is frequently (80%) required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and bend.
• The team member must occasionally (10%) lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a loud kitchen, casino and entertainment environment for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a kitchen environment where temperatures will exceed normal room temperatures and higher heat areas for periods of time for the execution of work.
• Must be able to work in varied situations in a cold environment for periods of time for the execution of work.
• Must be able to work in varied situations in a wet environment for periods of time for the execution of work.
