Volt is immediately hiring a Electrical Assembler in San Diego, CA. Calling all Electrical Trainees, Electrician Helpers or recent trade school Electrical / Electrician Grads looking to build their career in the electrical field.

As a Electrical Assembler you will:

• Fabricate parts, and build electrical / electronic wiring components.
• Perform complete operations to fabricate, assemble and install production and / or first article units, such as control consoles, junction boxes, instrument panels, relay panels and battery racks.
• Work from schematics, wiring diagrams, standard work sheets, engineering detail drawings, oral instructions and established shop practices.
• Select, brand, cut, route, fasten, sleeve, tie and lug wires; assemble and install wiring harnesses
• Locate, drill, mount, and fasten component
• Install control consoles, junction boxes, instrument/relay panels, resistors, capacitors, filters, diodes, circuit boards, heat and speed sensors, transformers, meters, malfunction status indicators, circuit breakers, and fuses.

You must be able to work 1st (6am - 2:30pm) or 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm). You will train on 1st shift and then they will determine which shift you will work on. Therefore, you must be able to work both.
This position is 15 months temp with strong potential to go temp to hire at any time after you start. The company offers job stability, growth opportunities and a fun/employee friendly environment. This company builds careers!

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1 year or more of related experience preferred however, we will consider anyone who recently graduated from an electrical trade school, or in school currently earning their certificate.
• Experience using hand tools such as crimpers, wire cutters, soldering irons, drills, screwdrivers, etc
• Ability to read schematics or drawings

Pay Rate: $20/hr for 1st shift, $20.75hr for 2nd shift
