This position is within the R&D group at Tustin, CA. location, working on validation and verification of proven and new designs of DC/DC power converters. This office will be relocating to a larger facility in Irvine, CA the last quarter of 2023.

• Work with design engineer on verification and validation of AC/DC switch mode power supplies.
• Work with different types of laboratory equipment such as: Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, multi-meters, thermal chamber to verify product’s performance.
• Assemble or modify AC/DC converters.
• Understand and resolve technical problems.
• Create test reports and work with other documentation.
• Work with other functions in the company during design process.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities when required.

• 
  Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electronics with 3 years industry experience.
• Ability to use common test equipment: Oscilloscopes, Electronic Test Loads, multi-meters, and several other test equipment.
• Ability to understand and resolve technical problems.
• Computer skills and an understanding of principals of electricity.
• Soldering skills and ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to construct test, inspect electrical equipment and systems.
• Prefer experience in power electronics industry.
• Prefer Knowledge of power supplies.
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
