- CDA or Associates Degree, or willingness to attain CDA within one year
- Previous exprience working in a childcare/preschool setting preferred
- Bilingual/Bicultural preferred
- Current (within one year) police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required
- Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)
- NSOR Clearance
- Two professional written letters of reference.
- To assist the Child Development Specialist in planning and executing early childhood activities
- Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with adults and children
- Assist the teacher in carrying out the duties of caring for children

A vacancy for TWO full-time Early Head Start Child Development Associate positions exists within the Early Head Start Program in the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This is a 260 day position, working with infants and toddlers, and will be located in West Chester.
