TITLE: DUI Billing/Collection Specialist

Bi-Bett Corporation, a California non-profit engaged for the past 50 years in the treatment and recovery of adults with primary substance use and co-occurring disorders alcohol or other drug problems. Originally based in Contra Costa County, Bi-Bett now operates residential and outpatient SUD programs, recovery residences and DUI Education in Alameda, Contra Costa and Solano Counties.

The Bi-Bett Mission: To provide effective and affordable human services to individuals, families and communities with alcohol and drug related problems in the belief that everyone has value and can grow through change if given one’s rightful opportunity to choose. Our goal is to create culturally appropriate alcohol and drug-free environments in which one may experience personal and social growth.

Responsibilities:

• Post and reconcile all the payments received for five DUI Educational programs.

• Send courtesy and delinquency notices each month for all offices.

• Completes Dismissals, Transfer-ins, and Conversions.

• Receives inquiries from participants regarding invoices, accounts, and ancillary fees.

• Responsible for collection on past due accounts and refunds of overpayments.

• Responsible for assuring all pricing correct in ADM and modifying when necessary.

• Uphold HIPPA standards, in addition to complying with company confidentiality requirements.

• Attend staff meetings and trainings as assigned.

• Cover Reception desk when Receptionist is out.

• Accept any other responsibilities/requests from management

• Provide weekly and monthly reports on collections and billing as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in A/R and A/P

• Understand billing processes

• Proficient in Excel and Work

• College degree AA/BA in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of DUI Education finance practices-highly desired

• Very organized and detail oriented

• Problem solver

• Ability to maintain required and appropriate records.

Range: $25 - $28 per hour. Compensation based on experience
