Responsibilities:
Models a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
Set up dish machine
Transport food carts to and from resident units
Deliver special request items to units as needed (i.e. missed trays, puree vs. regular tray, different food preparations)
Break down dishes from food carts if assigned
Rinse, pre-wash, rack and send dishes through dish machine if assigned
Pull dishes in dish room and put dishes in designed areas if assigned
Take out trash
Sweep and mop floors in kitchen and dish room areas and back door area
Complete daily cleaning assignments as assigned by supervisor
Assist with tray line as needed or assigned
Assist with serving food in dining room to residents as needed or assigned
Keep up temperature record for dish machine
Keep records updated on all kitchen cleaning buckets
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Have six months experience in dish room or sanitation work environment
Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English
Genuine caring for and interest in the care of mature adults, handicapped people

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
