About the Opportunity

The Dietary Supervisor provides overall management of the dining services team, including ensuring satisfactory staffing levels, staff education and training, and timely staff evaluations. s responsible for kitchen and dining area sanitation, productivity, safety, and quality controls.

Other relevant duties may be required or assigned by management.

Critical Success Factors:

• Ability to work effectively with executive director/administrator, facility management team, dining department staff and staff from all other departments.
• Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate with staff and residents in a positive professional manner.
• Knowledge of inventory control and ordering procedures.
• Superior customer service.
• Willing to be part of a team, and teach team concepts to staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in all phases of food service preparation and administration, and supervising and training employees.
• High School diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification, or equivalent.
• Plumbing, including but not limited to design/mechanics of commodes, plumbing fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.
