Position Title: Cyber Security Engineer
Rust-Oleum Corporation is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry. We offer a wide product range including decorative fashion paints, durable industrial roof repair coatings and, of course, the famous rust-fighting formula that started it all.
Our hybrid work environment includes two (2) remote days/week.
Responsibilities Include:

• Develops and implements security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, and web-based systems.
• Reviews security violation reports or logs, investigates possible security exceptions and coordinates with internal teams or external agencies as needed.
• Planning, implementing, and managing security measures to protect the organization's information systems and networks
• Monitoring security systems to identify and respond to potential security incidents
• Performing regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities
• Staying up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies
• Developing and implementing security policies and procedures
• Providing training and support to end-users on security best practices
• Responding to security incidents and leading incident response efforts.
• Managing Endpoint detection and response (EDR) platform.
• Analyzing Emails for spoofing, reading and understanding email headers and maintains email gateway security controls
• Oversee Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations
• Perform real-time detection, analysis, and response to threats via an EDR tool
• Analyze attacks and trends facing the organization to better define proactive defensive measures
• Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur.
• Provides subject matter expertise when needed
• Analyze and correlate data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
• Perform initial analysis and investigation into security alerts in security monitoring consoles.
• Hybrid cloud security, operations and administration.
• Administration of MDM technologies.
• Administration of Cloud web proxy, advance firewalling and sandboxing.
• Researches and evaluates cybersecurity threats and performs root cause analysis.
• Facilitate information to the management as required, including producing and delivering various dashboard, metrics and other reports, as required.
• Performs and supports vulnerability scanning & management and working with responsible parties for remediation efforts.
• Participates in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.
• Security design and architect in a global company cross technology stack in hybrid (Azure/On-prem) environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in agile discipline
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies
• Ability to implement and manage security solutions such as antivirus software and intrusion detection systems
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and network protocols

Technologies:

• TrendMicro security suite i.e Apex One, Deep Security, DDAN and DDI, Email Gateway and similar technologies
• Strong in Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security EMS+E5 and AAD P2 environment.
• Administration of Zscaler cloud proxy (ZIA), Advance Firewall and Sandboxes
• Microsoft Windows server and AD security
• VMware administration - intermediate level.
• Azure AD, M365, Purview, IAM, MCAS and Conditional Access Policies
• Trend Cloud App Security
• Mobil Iron Administration
• CIS controls and benchmarking – Working knowledge
• Tenable.io Vulnerability Scanner
• VMware -Intermediate level
• Dell Secure works and CrowdSrike is a plus
• F5 LTM ASM, iRules and DNS (GTM) – Working knowledge
• DKIM DMARC SPF and DNS – Intermediate level
• Administration of BIND on Linux is a plus
• DLP data loss prevention, threat protection and anti-malware tools.
• Cloud infrastructure, virtual platforms, encryption technologies, endpoint protection, network systems such as, load balancers, mail transport systems
• Security intelligence, threat modeling and threat hunting
• Networking, switching and routing – Intermediate level
• SIEM
• Automation and orchestration technologies
• BASH or similar scripting languages

Qualifications:
10+ years of hands on in-depth knowledge and working experience.
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or relevant experience
Expertise with Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure in particular
CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CEH or other relevant professional certifications are preferred
