Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Customer Service Professional I.
This department is currently working remotely from home. Remote work privileges are approved at the sole discretion of the supervisor and department management; as such, the department reserves the right to modify or discontinue remote work arrangements at any point.
The Customer Service Professional reports to the Customer Service Supervisor. The primary function of this position is to provide customer service to the general public for utility bills, public works service requests, building permits and business licenses in a call center and/or front counter environment.
You are someone who effectively exceeds customer needs by building productive relationships, and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty. You actively participate as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals and produce quality outcomes. You are committed to our safety philosophy, and you take great pride in proactively managing time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently while accomplishing objectives and achieving goals beyond what is required.

Associates degree (A.S., A.A.) or two-year technical certificate in related field- 3 years of experience in a customer service environment and/or in a call center or high-volume phone environment
- 2 years of experience using multiple software systems
- 1 year of cashiering experience
- Skill in mathematical operations, cashiering policies, data entry, and filing techniques;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, supervisor, and external customers
- Skills in organization, managing time, and prioritizing work
- Valid AZ Driver's License.
