Cultivation Agents are crucial in ensuring that our plants are happy, healthy and yield strong results. This position will be responsible for every aspect of a plant’s life cycle, from taking clones to harvesting its final product. Diligent and detail-oriented people will thrive in this environment. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Cultivation Agents report to the Cultivation Lead and, ultimately to the Cultivation Manager. They’ll interact frequently and cross responsibilities with Post-Harvest Agents who handle the plant after it has been harvested.
Must be 21 or over to work with Glorious Cannabis Company
Shift's are 8 hour days 5 days per week
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic plant maintenance: defoliation, topping, pruning, trellising, cutting
- Propagation, Vegetation and Flowering stages of production Assist in harvest, weighing and packaging of product
- Cleaning and sanitation of production areas and all equipment associated with production
- Set-up and break down of production areas
- Comprehend and follow all warning labels and instructions in facility SOPs
- Learn and use applicable trade tools such as computer software and basic garden implements
- Comprehend basic water quality parameters such as pH and ppm
- Follow established proprietary nutrient program
- Routinely lift and carry 50 pounds
- Must stay current and adhere to all state and federal policy and regulations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENT
- Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; use close, color and peripheral vision; ability to adjust focus
- Frequently required to walk, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; use distance vision; depth perception
- Occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; work in wet or humid conditions, in high places and outdoor weather conditions; exposed to fumes or airborne particles
- Available to work 45+ hours per week and weekends when requested
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of three years or relatable work experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry level experience as greenhouse technician in a hydroponic vegetable production a plus!
- Excellent mathematics, language and reasoning skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- General tool, hardware, ladder & building skills
- Working safely in a warehouse setting
- Self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task
