POSITION: COUNTER SALES REPRESENTATIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop relationships with customers by accurately taking customers’ orders in person, over the phone, and electronically
• Evaluate and process warranty items handled at the counter and follow the company’s and manufacturer’s warranty policies
• Help quote customers on both stock and non-stock products
• Accurately enter sales orders and secure payments based on customer’s account type
• Answer customer questions quickly and professionally
• Support the outside sales team when necessary
• Coordinate job-site delivery times with warehouse and delivery drivers
• Function as a team-player and assist with day-to-day branch operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of HVACR products is a plus, but not required
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with being a team player
• Must be flexible with changes in work schedule and be willing to work overtime
• Must be able to attend occasional company provided education classes which are often conducted after work hours
• Must be able to handle lifting a minimum of 50lbs without assistance
