Position will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations. This candidate will provide leadership and coordination in the administration, financial reporting, accounting and budgeting.
Primary Responsibilities:

- Monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts, and vendor invoices.
- All work related to general ledger , monthly P&L’s , monthly balance sheet’s and all associated schedules generated monthly which include, AP, AR, etc….
- All AP/AR functions which include and is not limited to all preparation of both invoices, , and all check preparation for AP
- Take on responsibility as the Revenue Cycle Manager
- Daily monitoring of charge capture patient encounters, co-payment collections, accounts receivable, denials, cash collections and credit/refunds. Develops reporting mechanisms to provide accurate updates to clinic/site Management Team on process improvements regarding revenue related activities
- Oversite, and preparation of annual audits
- Implementation of new ERP Systems
- Review of statistics (i.e. referral patterns from MD,insurances etc.)
- While not directly responsible for purchasing oversite of same to make sure each purchase order is correctly issued, as it relates to tax or non-taxable
- Direct responsibility for all relationships with outside vendors in terms of collections for AR
- Occasional Human Resources responsibilities
- Give long term thought and advise to partners for future expansion, and growth
- Build cash reserves within company
- Be able to complete work in a timely manner for monthly reporting to management and hospital.
- Think more broadly and longer term about the business, and for the business.
- Be clear and transparent to partners regarding receipts of AR
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Accounting or Finance related role
- Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounting Software
- ADP
- Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and working bank knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience with integrating an ERP system
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines completely
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload to produce desired results
- Solid computer skills including MS Office, Excel, Outlook
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required. Advanced degree or certifications preferred

For job requisitions posted to our New York City locations, Grassi is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range. This compensation range is specific to our New York City locations and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 - $170,000.
