Position Summary

Reporting to the CEO, the Controller has cognizance of multi-year and annual financial projections, oversight of the budgeting process and ownership of monthly analysis and reporting. Additionally, responsibility for the success of all financial transactions, bookkeeping and accounting in total ultimately roll up to the Controller.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Operate as the business’s subject matter expert across the Finance and Accounting functions, including associated compliance and internal controls
  • Leadership of the associated functional team (Bookkeeper) and cross-functionally among the Sr. Leadership and Management Teams
  • Translate the annual business strategy and company vision into an easily understood and executed Financial Plan
  • Serve as the escalation path for critical financial decision making and prioritization, ensuring the business in total, and individual teams, are contributing to overall financial success
  • Operate within, continuously improve, lead, and hold the business accountable to a set of Key Process Indicators (KPIs) enabling outstanding financial performance and critical business decision making
  • Cross-functionally lead the Inventory, Payroll & Assets and Reimbursement (A/R) teams to successful reconciliation of the General Ledger
  • Work seamlessly with external accountants in the preparation of year-end financial summaries and associated tax statements/flings
  • Expected to be a contributing force in the creation and/or continuous improvement of Standard Work within area of cognizance

What You Must Bring to This Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field of study - required
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA or related field of study - desired
  • Demonstrated success leading the financial functions within a mid-size, multiple business unit organization - required
  • History of success operating in Medical Billing or a similar, regulated, Accounts Receivable fields - required
  • Demonstrated success rapidly building and maintaining relationships and effectively leading both functionally and cross-functionally within an organization - required
  • A history of excellence in communication (verbal and written), active listening, overcoming objections, risk mitigation, and problem-solving - required
  • Proven strength establishing or improving financial business processes - required
  • A desire to continue learning, and proven success learning quickly and translating learning into practice and results -required
  • Demonstrated ability to realign teams to the new organization objectives - required
  • Proven success in business to business relationship development - required
  • Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals - required
  • History of operating with Toyota Production System, Danaher Business System, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) - desired
  • History of operating in a root cause corrective action or Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) or 8D environment - desired
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite - desired
  • Working knowledge of Bright tree, U-Sleep, and Pioneer RX software or similar - desired
