Collections Specialist Job at Atlantic Packaging

Title of Position: Customer Collections
Position Type: Full Time with full benefits package
Pay Range: Flexible; commensurate with level of experience
Location: Wilmington, NC
Job Duties Include:
- Releasing customer orders pursuant to confirming good standing of customer
- Calls to customers to obtain payment commitment for any past due amounts
- Establishing relationships with customer contacts to facilitate successful collections
- Working with CSRs, sales reps and others to identify and correct any erroneous billing
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior, multi-year experience in collections (commercial and industrial)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to learn new computer programs and procedures
- Ability to establish rapport and build working relationships with diverse contacts
- Flexible and adaptable
- Patient but persistent
- Ability to collect while maintaining positive relationship with customers
