JOB DETAILS

Monday through Friday, you are doing important work: creating classroom culture, brain building, and developing important social emotional skills from the time you walk into your classroom, until the time you leave. And on the nights and weekends? That’s your time! Recharge, relax, and have your own fun (…maybe with a coworker who has become a friend).

Ideal Lead Teacher Characteristics:

• • Experience: 1-to-2 years classroom experience and a degree in early childhood education (or related field), Career Pathway Level 3 or higher, or a current CDA
  • Creativity: Engage children by singing, dancing, open-end art, hands on activities and making learning visible for everyone
  • Customer Focus: Great daily communication, timely responsiveness, engagement and resourceful in finding answers to questions
  • Checklist Lover: Track and record students’ growth and development throughout the year
  • Organization: Lesson plans and classrooms that keep all students engaged
  • Integrity: Professional, motivated, and true to what you say you will do across all relationships with children, families, and co-workers
  • Environment: Create an atmosphere that is inviting and represents all students

• Phone Interview with HR manager (15 minutes)
• Zoom Interview with Center Director (& other Building Staff) (Up to 2 Hours)
• Skills Test
• In person working interview to experience the Role and Team, feel the culture etc. (4 hours paid -we value your time during this process)
