Job Snapshot:

• This position involves visual inspection of structural steel, including bolted and welded connections, field inspection and performing non-destructive testing.
• Coordinating testing assignments on various projections, maintaining testing equipment, report preparation and field work including safely climbing steel structures like buildings, cell phone towers and water tanks to heights in excess of 200 feet.
• Position will require 50+ hour work weeks (during periods of peak workload), as well as off-shift and weekend work, as required.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), active or renewable
• Ability to climb heights in excess of 200 feet
• Experience in the use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems
• Willingness to travel and possible assignment to extended, out-of-town, projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• ICC Bolting certification
• Level II for UT, PT, MT certifications
