Bartender Job at Lilac Hedge Farm
Lilac Hedge Farm is looking to fill several roles in our beer garden. This position is compensated by pooled tips. We will be quietly opening in March, with a grand opening slated for May. The beer garden will be open seasonally Friday through Sunday, with intent to expand hours as staffing and consumer demand dictate.
Responsibilities Include:
-responsibly serving beer, wine, and spirits to 21+ guests
-maintaining a clean and organized workspace
-keeping bar well stocked, communicating when items need to be re-ordered
-assisting porters, food runners, and kitchen staff with maintaining the cleanliness and order of the beer garden and other guest areas
-representing the organization in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner
Qualified applicants would have:
-TIPS certification
-a service oriented mindset
-a friendly, can-do attitude and willingness to work
-reliable transportation
-6+ months experience in the service industry
-strong organizational skills
-proactive, honest and constructive communication regarding work
-ability to work efficiently based on priorities, willingness to take direction, initiative, and constructive criticism
-ability to work well as part of a team
-reliability and punctuality
-ability to self-motivate, work independantly, and follow detailed instructions
-ability to stand for 6-10 hours and lift 50+ pounds
-pride in their work
-strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment
-sense of humor is a plus

Pay: $5.55 per hour
