   This role can be remote in the US or in any of our US offices, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, or Philadelphia
 
 
 
   Summary: The Associate Director of Production Operations and Resourcing at Real Chemistry is responsible for the effective operation of the production group that services all of Real Chemistry. This role works closely with the Head of Production to ensure work quality through operational excellence.
 
 
   The Associate Director of Production Operations and Resourcing will work at the intersection of the production crafts people (producers, directors, editors and animators) and the systems that support the agency (finance, operations, talent acquisition and HR).
 
 
 
   What you’ll do:
 
 - 
   Works in real time with department leads to ensure that each production is staffed with the correct resources (whether in-house or freelance)
 - 
   Forecasting: establish resource demand and implement methods of capturing specific requirements to anticipate resource requests. Recommend strategies for providing adequate resource during spikes in demand and maintaining productivity during dips in demand.
 - 
   Communicates unplanned for resource adjustments to appropriate team members
 - 
   Partner with DRM and finance lead to gain better insight into quarterly view of resource needs
 - 
   Maintains an understanding of skillsets to better map talent to task

   Reviews utilization monthly to understand patterns in over/under utilization and work with DRM to address with department leads and Project Management as needed
 
- 
   Escalates known issues to the right team members, helping to drive discussion to resolution
 
- 
   Maintains a high-level awareness of the project work moving through the agency
 
- 
   Maintains awareness of status of current and upcoming business development efforts, discussing resourcing needs and plan with department leads
 
- 
   Develop and maintain a specialized freelance rolodex as well as the system that allows us to engage those resources at the speed of production.
 
- 
   Manages sourcing, rate negotiation, contracting/paperwork and onboarding of freelance
 
- 
   Manage freelance budgets and procure freelance rates that allow healthy profit margins within that budget
 
- 
   In partnership with HR, departmental leads and finance, helps to manage freelancer relationships, answer questions, help with paperwork and IT set up
 
- 
   Systems: Develop process and documentation that supports the most frequent outputs of the group and the pace required.

   Pay Range: 95K-119K
 
 This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
