The Site Director is a natural leader, who possess the ability to create and implement fun, engaging developmentally appropriate activities in the areas of character development, project based learning, STEAM, fitness and recreation, academics/enrichment. The Site Director will manage and mentor multiple part-time staff, be a natural problem solver, inspire Club Members aged 5-12 parents, staff and volunteers on a daily basis.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Challenging and rewarding position for a creative, energetic, & outcome-driven professional.
- Manage overall operations at the Clubhouse or Extension site
- Ability to create and implement fun, engaging developmentally appropriate activities in the areas of character development, project based learning, STEAM, fitness and recreation, academics/enrichment
- Actively involved in daily program delivery
- Staff training and supervision
- Volunteer management
- Ensure Club Member safety and growth
- Communicate with parents to promote the program or to address any Club Member issues.
- Develop partnerships with school staff and administrators to bridge the gap between the regular instructional day and the after school program.
- Membership administration & facilities management
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 or 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience working with youth aged 6-18 years
· Ability to motivate and energize youth while managing behavior problems and program goals
- Ability to supervise and train staff & volunteers
- Ability to interact positively with the general public and school staff
SALARY & BENEFITS: Full-Time up to 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday , occasional weekend day. Salary range based on experience and education.
